26 years old. PARTAY. But really, my birthday was stellar. I worked from home and made my own strawberry cake that turned out pretttttttty yummy if I do say so myself. I met new and old friends at a brewery where we had 2 for 1 beers, munched on a way too ridiculously beautiful cheeseboard, all while listening to bluegrass in the background. And the night ended with a few of us on the basketball court playing knockout until the birthday girl won. Faith That Moves
Six months in and I’m deep, DEEP into the trek of a job search. If you are there too… I feeeeeeeeel you. At this moment I would give you a slight head tilt and a fist bump insinuating to keep on keepin on. Many days I can’t help for my heart to feel anxious or discouraged by the days ahead, but I have to remember that my God is active and is making a way. These past months at home have served a far greater purpose in my life than I could have ever thought. He is using this time to refine me by fire and to teach me about His never changing character. Many days I feel like I am in a drought when it comes to hearing from the Lord, but this past week He spoke so clearly to me through his Word and others. 2016 in Review
2017 – HERE WE GO. Like many people, I am happy to see this year arrive. 2016 has brought many stellar moments and a lot of heartbreaking realities. And quite honestly, I have made some kickass goals that I am ready to crush during the new year. Lookout -Leslie Hannah King Knope on the horizon!
